PayiQ has added Suomi.fi authentication to its Seutu+ mobile application. Identification enables the easy purchase of Kela’s subsidized school transport tickets .
Seutu+ is a service that allows you to buy seasonal and series tickets for regional transport in the regions of Southwest Finland and Satakunta. In this area there are many students in upper secondary level educational institutions who are entitled to the school transport subsidy granted by Kela.
Suomi.fi e-Identification is a shared strong identification service of public administration e-services. It enables you to log into the electronic services of public administration in Finland with online banking codes or mobile certificate. PayiQ has added this identification to the Seutu+ mobile application it has developed for the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment of Southwest Finland. Thanks to this addition, it is now possible to buy subsidized school transport season tickets with direct reimbursement from the Seutu+ application. In the past, students have paid for the season ticket themselves and subsequently applied for compensation from Kela. Tickets can now be purchased directly so that Kela’s school transport subsidy is taken into account immediately upon purchase.
