PayiQ has added Epassi Commuting as payment method to its mobile apps. Now Epassi users can also transfer expiring benefits to Mobility Balance account and use them to buy tickets next year.
PayiQ started co-operation with Epassi in October and in just two months has added Epassi Commuting as payment method to nine of its mobile apps. Passengers using Föli, Korsisaari, Kouvola, Lahti Tickets, Linkki, Oulu Tickets, Paikkuri, Seutu+ and Vilkku apps can pay for their bus tickets with this popular benefit. PayiQ apps offer users a convenient way to use their benefit without having to queue at service points.
To further facilitate the use of Epassi benefits PayiQ has launched a new Mobility Balance feature. Users can transfer their expiring Epassi Commuting benefit to Mobility Balance account and then use the balance to buy tickets next year. Every year large amounts of unused benefits expire and PayiQ wants to provide a handy way of using those benefits later. Mobility Balance feature is available in selected apps.
“We are happy to provide our users an easy way to take full advantage of their Epassi Commuting benefit. While companies strive to decrease emissions from their employees’ daily commuting, PayiQ is dedicated to encouraging the use of mass transit also for work-related travel. There is a lot of potential in utilizing commuter benefits to its full. Thus, our new Mobility Balance feature helps greatly the end-users by offering a way to use benefits that would otherwise expire.” tells PayiQ’s CEO Elena Lipchenko.
