PayiQ has delivered a branded mobile app to the bus company Urpolan Liikenne. This launch is PayiQ’s 12th public transport mobile app in Finland.
After several years of co-operation in the PayiQ Tickets, Urpolan Liikenne decided to acquire their own branded app for selling their bus tickets. Urpola’s tickets are also still available in PayiQ Tickets app, which offers bus tickets across entire Finland.
Urpolan Liikenne app can be downloaded for free from Google Play and App Store. Ticket range includes adults’ and children’s single and multi-journey tickets to several different bus routes in the Ostrobothnia region around Vaasa and Seinäjoki. The app supports all the most common payment methods, including Epassi commuter benefit.
“We are excited to have our own app, providing customers with faster and more convenient access to our ticket products and a closer contact with our customers. Our collaboration with PayiQ has been seamless throughout 4 years of partnership, and we particularly value the flexibility of the platform, which enables us to easily introduce new ticket products and adjust pricing. Having our own branded app gives us greater opportunities to enhance our services and respond effectively to the evolving needs of our customers” says Jari Urpola, CEO of Urpolan Liikenne.
“We are pleased that our co-operation with Urpola continues and deepens with the launch of this app. This goes to show that PayiQ’s solutions also suit the needs of intercity traffic in addition to local transport. We look forward to further developing Urpola’s dedicated app in collaboration with our customer” says Elena Lipchenko, CEO of PayiQ.
