A mobile ticket can be purchased with the Föli application. The application works with the latest Windows, Android and iOS phones. Using the application requires registration and selection of the preferred payment method.
The application works with the following phone operating systems: Windows Phone version 8.1 or newer, Apple iOS version 7 or newer, Android version 2.3.3 or newer.
Purchasing a ticket requires your registration.
You can pay tickets with iQ billing, debit and credit cards (Visa and Mastercard), and operator billing. Tickets with iQ billing are sold with the normal price, card payments with added 20 cents and operator payment with added 50 cents as added payment method costs.
You can buy single tickets and tourist tickets with the app. Single tickets are valid for two hours. You may switch the bus as many times as needed. The mobile ticket validity time starts from the purchase. The ticket will be checked on the bus with a reader device (QR Code) or manually by the driver. Please ensure that your phone has enough power to show the ticket.
Language options: English, Finnish and Swedish.
The ticket is valid in Turku region public transport. You must be able to present the ticket to the bus driver when entering the vehicle. There might be additional ticket inspections in the bus. Please make sure that the phone battery will last through the whole trip.
After you have paid the ticket, it will appear in the "tickets" tab in the app showing all your currently valid tickets. Above the QR code there is the validity time left in the ticket. In the "history" tab of the app you can see the previously purchased tickets that are no longer valid.
You can buy more than one ticket with the same phone, for example for your child or for your friend.
To prevent abuse, a ticket cannot be stamped on the bus indefinitely, it stops working after certain amount of use. In normal situations this will not cause any problems for passengers.
