PayiQ had a very intense and productive #TeamFinland visit to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan. The visit was organized by EastCham Finland together with Ministry for Foreign Affairs and led by Minister for Foreign Trade and Development, Mr. Ville Skinnari.
Representing one of the 20 companies on this business mission from Finland, PayiQ’s VP of business development Elena Lipchenko participated in the FIN-UZ Intergovernmental Economic Commission meeting presenting PayiQ’s solution to the Ministry of Transport and Digitalization. Similar high-level events followed in Kazakhstan where she met with Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources and talked about carbon neutrality and CO2 emission control of transport. Elena also met Deputy Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development who is above all also responsible for digitalization of transport solutions. The official program was wrapped up with a Business Roundtable with Kazakh companies where PayiQ had engaging discussions and fruitful networking.
It is worth to mention the professional organization of the mission and the hospitality of both countries, as well as the +17 °C winter in Tashkent which was a special treat for a Finland-based dweller.
