A mobile ticket can be purchased with a smart phone app. The application works with the latest Android and iOS phones.

You can use the app either without registering, when the payment method is automatically operator billing, or you can register and have multiple payment methods to choose from.

Available payment methods include Svea billing, debit and credit cards (Visa and Mastercard), operator billing, MobilePay and Masterpass.

THE APP CAN BE USED TO BUY SINGLE TICKETS AND DAY TICKETS. THE PRICE OF THE TICKET DEPENDS ON THE NUMBER OF ZONES IN WHICH YOU WISH TO TRAVEL.

Ticket’s validity starts from the moment of purchase. The ticket will be checked on the bus manually by the driver.

Using the ticket

Tickets are valid within the public transport organised by Regional Public Transport Authority (Oulun joukkoliikenne), in the zones chosen during ticket’s purchase. Ticket’s validity starts from the moment of purchase. You must show the ticket to the driver each time you board a bus. Ticket inspectors may also inspect the ticket.

After you have bought the ticket it will appear in the Products tab where you can find all your valid tickets, and information on previously purchased tickets. Ticket’s remaining validity time is shown above the QR code.

YOU CAN USE THE SAME PHONE TO PURCHASE MULTIPLE TICKETS, FOR EXAMPLE WHEN PARENT AND CHILD ARE TRAVELING TOGETHER.
