PayiQ CEO Pirkka Lankinen took part in the meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Finnish Commission on Economic Cooperation

A meeting of the Intergovernmental Russian-Finnish Commission on Economic Cooperation was held in Helsinki on 14 October 2021. The Commission is co-chaired by Minister for Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade Ville Skinnari and Russia’s Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.

During the plenary session of the Intergovernmental Commission, the participants discussed the broad agenda of Russian-Finnish cooperation in the spheres of economy, industry, energy and transport. As Ville Skinnari noted, Russia is an extremely important market for Finland, and now the task is to expand ties between the two countries.

During 2021 PayiQ has launched five projects in Russia which facilitated digital transformation of mass transport and provided convenient service for the passengers. More information can be found on our news page.
