Korsisaari companies took into use their own mobile app that has been developed by PayiQ. The app can be used to easily buy mobile tickets for public transport.
Korsisaari companies have offered their customers the opportunity to buy mobile tickets since March 2017. Until now the tickets have been available in PayiQ Tickets mobile app, an app that can be used to buy tickets in several Finnish cities. In December 2018 tickets became available also in Korsisaari’s own mobile app. At the same time the ticket selection grew and diversified.
“We have been very happy with PayiQ’s mobile ticketing app and our cooperation. As we were improving our services it became topical to consider switching over to our own app. Sales of mobile tickets has been steadily increasing the whole time and in the future our ticket selection will expand with various season and series tickets. Mobile tickets are an increasingly important sales channel to us. With our own branded Korsisaari app our tickets are more quickly found and it’s easier for us to improve our services.” tells Antti Korsisaari, CEO of Korsisaari companies.
